Ro-Ro ferry bought for trips Kyrenia-Mersin

The TRNC government has acquired a Ro-Ro [roll on-roll off] ferry that will run between Kyrenia and Mersin.

The operation of Ro-Ro ferries to Kyrenia has been temporarily suspended, and now Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arykly has resumed the activities of the state company of marine Enterprises.

Minister Arıklı told Anadolu Agency (AA) that maritime transport and trade are important for the TRNC, and that the government has recently taken measures to revive, promote and diversify maritime transport between Northern Cyprus and Turkey.
