The government is negotiating with several companies from Turkey to create a new air carrier. This was announced by Minister Erhan Arikly.

He also noted that the state itself will not invest in the air carrier. On the contrary, it is planned to conclude an agreement with a company that will provide investments. According to the minister, this project will be very useful for the economy.

It was also announced the start of construction activities to build a terminal at Ercan Airport. According to the minister, the building of the air harbor has actually been built, it remains only to supply electricity and complete some technical details.

According to him, Ercan is considered one of the key sources of replenishment of the budget for the country. “After moving to a new airport, our income will increase even more,” the minister added.
