Na severním Kypru jsou moderní mobilní základnové stanice
Na severním Kypru jsou moderní mobilní základnové stanice have begun to be used, designed for emergency communication in emergency situations. These new installations have already been put into operation as part of the region’s communications system, and they have been inspected by the Minister of Public Works and Transport of the TRNC, Erhan Arykli, together with the management of Vodafone Telsim and representatives of the BTHK regulator.
According to the minister, such stations are especially important in case of natural disasters — earthquakes, floods or fires — when the usual coverage may be disrupted, and stable communication is needed to coordinate rescue services. New solutions allow you to quickly deploy equipment even in hard-to-reach places.
What is known about the characteristics of these stations:
- They support several communication standards, from 2G to 4G, and can work with 5G infrastructure if necessary.
- Special hydraulic design allows you to deploy the antennas in a short time.
- Power is provided by self-contained generators, which makes the stations independent of the common network
- Such devices are suitable not only for emergency situations, but also for events with massive crowds when the load on the network increases dramatically.
The regional operator has also increased the fleet of emergency equipment — seven new stations have been added to it, including four mobile and three trailer stations.
